US stock futures are trading with slight gains ahead of Friday's session, as investors remained concerned over Deutsche Bank (NYSE:DB) possible $11.4 billion USD offering, which weighed on European bourses. Overseas, Tokyo's Nikkei 225 received a boost after the government introduced a new $11 billion USD stimulus plan, and after the government announced an upwardly revised GDP figure showing growth at an annualized rate of 1.5%. Meanwhile, in the US, investors were also preparing for US President Barack Obama's news conference, hoping to hear some update on the health of the US recovery. The only economic report due out today consists of wholesale inventories for July at 10:00 am. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) futures are trading 16.00 points above fair value, the S&P500 (INX) futures are trading 2.70 points above fair value, and the Nasdaq Composite (IXIC) futures are trading 5.50 points above fair value.
